Become an Ambassador

Accessibility is everyone’s everday responsibility. As an accessibilty ambassador, you are specially trained to carry this message into your workplace and life. As an ambassador you will:

  • Embody accessible-usable best practices in your day-to-day work for the U of M (and beyond!)
  • Provide just-in-time and programmed training to your colleagues on the 6 core skills of accessible usable communication
  • Represent the U of M’s model for accessible-usable best practices at local, national and international events

  • Submit your application, including a statement of interest, to the committee
  • Complete the training badge for the 6 core skills [link]
  • Attend in-person workshop (details of these workshops will be emailed to you when you submit your application)
