Establish Regular Liaison and Coordinator Meetings

Responsibility

Implementation Guidelines

The accessibility liaisons should schedule and hold regular and purposeful meetings. Consider establishing operating procedures adapted from other long-standing groups, such as the Enterprise Drupal Advisory Board:

  • Document and publish expectations, such as a group charter, membership criteria, and member responsibilities.
  • Add repeating meeting invitations to liaisons' Google Calendars in advance, perhaps quarterly.
  • Publish agendas in advance.
  • Appoint a chair and co-chair.
  • Designate backups who can attend meetings if the liaison is not available.
  • Take and publish minutes.

Metric

Liaisons and coordinators are invited to repeated meetings for the quarter and operating standards are drafted.
